Elegant furnishings compliment the romantic decor of the spacious Milliner's Bedchamber Suite that features a Victorian inspired bed that is graced with a lace canopy, a relaxing sitting area where guests enjoy reading or viewing cable television, a dining area where guests enjoy playing games and a Victorian soaking tub complete with bubbles, bath salts and soaps, where guests can relax beneath a beautiful chandelier.

Perhaps you are an adventurer and have dreamed of visiting a European Cottage. That is what you will experience if you reserve the Happy Wanderer Suite that is situated in the former carriage house. This spacious cottage features a beautifully carved, very tall, queen size 4 poster bed. You will find the suite a relaxing retreat where you might want to sit and read a book from the lovely antique bookcases, watch cable television or listen to a music CD. There is a dining area where guests may snack on special treats or play games. The large,  private bathing room has a beautiful shower and farmhouse sink.    

The covered verandas that surround the European inspired courtyard garden offers another opportunity for guests to relax, sip win, have a snack of cheese and German sausages or simply converse with that special friend. It is a peaceful, quiet refuge for a weary traveler.

Gourmet breakfasts and desserts are served in the suite or on the charming covered veranda that surrounds a European inspired courtyard. Our guests enjoy generous portions and choose from delectable breakfast menus that include caramel apple french toast, belgian waffles, quiches or gravy and biscuits and that are complimented by eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausages, fruit, homemade preserves and sweet breads, all served in an elegantly appointed manner. Every evening is a special occasion when our guests are served a delicious dessert on fine china. 

Abigail's Grape Leaf B & B offers the use of a charming picnic basket for a romantic excursion beside the Missouri River. Bike rental is just a block away for those guests wanting to venture along the Katy Trail.  Our Gasconade County vacation get-away is prime location for guests who want to play golf on a country club golf course, stroll the historic district for shopping, dining, German festivals, museums, award winning wineries and historic sites.
